I had  a similar experience where when an exec finally got the concept of t, I, &amp; OE, he calculated that each day a particular new product was delayed was costing him $50,000 (conservatively) in lost throughput as his competitor ate into his market share. He realized he needed to take action and it wasn&#039;t cutting his R&amp;D costs.  Gratifying indeed! </description>
